Fire and smoke damage restoration, from board-up to rebuild
After a fire, the damage you can see is only part of it. Smoke travels through the whole house, soot is acidic and etches surfaces within days, and the water used to put the fire out starts its own problems. We secure the property, clean what can be saved, remove the odor at the source, and rebuild what cannot.

Questions
Fire & Smoke Damage Restoration FAQ
Can I clean the soot myself?
Wiping soot often smears it deeper into paint and grout. Different fires leave different residues, from dry ash to greasy protein residue from kitchen fires, and each needs a different cleaning method.
Will the smoke smell ever go away?
Yes, when the source is removed. Masking sprays wear off. We clean or remove the materials holding the odor, clean the ductwork, and use deodorization equipment so the smell does not return on the first humid day.
Is it safe to stay in the house?
It depends on the damage, power and air quality. After most fires the insurance company provides additional living expenses. We will tell you honestly whether the home is livable during the work.
