Insurance claims

Help with your water, fire or mold insurance claim

A claim is stressful when you don't know the steps. Here is how it works, and what we handle for you.

Step by step

How a restoration claim works

  1. Stop the damage

Call us. We stop the source, extract water or secure the roof. This is mitigation, and your policy expects it.

  2. Report the claim

Call your carrier or use their app. Write down the claim number and your adjuster's name.

  3. We document everything

Photos, moisture maps, thermal images and daily drying logs, organized for the adjuster.

  4. Adjuster inspection

We can meet the adjuster on site to walk through the damage and our readings.

  5. Approved scope

Repairs are agreed between you, us and the insurer, in writing, before rebuild starts.

  6. Rebuild and close-out

We complete the repairs and send final photos and invoices to close the claim.

What we do for your claim

  • Photograph and video every affected area before work starts
  • Moisture readings and thermal images, logged daily while drying
  • Itemized estimate and written scope of work
  • Content inventory for damaged belongings
  • Meet your adjuster on site and answer their questions
  • Explain everything in English or Spanish

We are a restoration contractor, not a public adjuster or attorney. We do not negotiate your settlement, but we make sure the damage is documented accurately so your claim reflects what really happened.

Insurance questions

Do I have to use the contractor my insurance company recommends?

No. In Florida you have the right to choose your own contractor. Your insurer may suggest preferred vendors, but the choice is yours.

Should I call my insurance company or a restoration company first?

If water is still spreading, call us first so mitigation can start. Then report the claim. Most policies require you to take reasonable steps to prevent further damage, and quick mitigation protects your claim.

What do I need to save for my claim?

Photos of the damage and the source, receipts for anything you buy, and any damaged items until the adjuster says they can go. We photograph everything as well.

What is a deductible and when do I pay it?

The deductible is the part of the claim you pay. Florida policies often have a separate hurricane deductible. We explain how it applies to your job before work starts.

Water, fire or mold right now? Call.

We answer 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A real person, not a call center.
